For this website 500,000 is to much. Although it has very high traffic levels, the token method of determining website price is 10X monthly income. For this website their monthly income is close to $10,000/month. To ask for 500,000 is a bit high, the valuation I feel should be around 100,000. Although this is still highly priced, it is not quite as impressive as the 500,000. I would cite the sale of the 1% of facebook as a great example of how much a site can fetch.
